Upper page: Contact Me

Depending on my current schedule and prior commitments, I may be available for short-term freelance or longer term contract work. You can contact me by email at jsm@surniaulula.com to discuss your needs, and the ways I can help you.

UNIX SysAdmin and Integration Services

I can provide UNIX Systems Administration services, including installation, modifications and upgrades, performance tuning, and general support for Oracle/SUN Solaris, Linux (Oracle, RedHat, CentOS, Mandrake, Debian, Ubuntu, and many others), Mac OS X, and IBM AIX. Most of my 20 years experience has been with Solaris and Linux.

Aside from general UNIX SysAdmin services, I also specialize in the integration of UNIX system services (Bind, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, OpenVZ, etc.), web-related applications (Apache, MySQL, WordPress, etc.), and operational applications (monitoring, ticketing, etc.).

Website Development and Hosting

On a Freelance basis, I may be available to install, configure, modify, customize, and integrate a UNIX-based website infrastructure. Depending on the size and scope of the infrastructure, this may include load balancing, content delivery (CDN), back-end/front-end caching, replication, disaster recovery, cloud services, custom Perl and/or PHP code, etc.
